My academic background includes a broad knowledge about the basic
principles of chemistry and biochemistry. During my graduate years, I
taught undergraduate level courses in Biochemistry and Physical
Chemistry. In addition, I have a significant expertise in x-ray
crystallography and I can teach all the aspects of x-ray
diffraction and protein structure.
The blend of my research experience and educational interests provide
me with a deep understanding of many biophysical and biochemical
methods as embedding successful research in educational training helps
learners understand the complex nature of the biological systems. I
have created, implemented and taught techniques and methods to many
undergraduate, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. It has
been very rewarding to contribute to the training of the students by
teaching, individually or in groups, both the basic principles of
science and interdisciplinary approaches to conduct successful
research.
