B-DNA: Dickerson's Dodecamer

Dickerson Dodecamer is a double stranded DNA with the following sequence

5'-CGCGAATTCGCG-3'
3'-GCGCTTAAGCGC-5'

1) Highlight the Phosphate backbone.

2) Show antiparallel strands.

3) Space-filling model of the dodecamer.

4) Highlight individual bases.

5) Highlight donors and acceptors.
A) The H-bonds acceptors in the groove are colored in yellow.

B) The H-bonds donors in the groove are colored in green.

C) The Thymine methyl group are colored in magenta.

6) Highlight a C-G nucleotide pair.

7) Highlight propeller twist
One of the characteristics of B-DNA is the propeller twist in which two bases in a basepair are rotated in such a way that are not in the same plane.

8) Highlight the sugar pucker.
